Welcome to East Riding Astronomers
We are a small observing club based in Woodmansey with members from the East Riding and North Lincolnshire.
We meet monthly*, occasionally more often and are keen to welcome new members, visitors and those curious about stargazing.

Next Two Meetings:
- August 12th – Solar Eclipse and Perseids meteor party. Starts around 6pm, SUBJECT TO THE WEATHER. See status below. Final status update is at 4pm on the 12th.
NB: Eclipse event starts 6pm and will finish by 8pm.
Perseids event will start as it falls dark (after 9) and finish by midnight.
Both 12th August events are free entry so bring a friend.
1603hrs update: The weather looks very good for both events today so see you at the Hall 6-8pm and 1030-1200pm.
- September 7th, meeting at the Village Hall at 7pm for 7.30pm.
Apart from our monthly in-person meetings we have an active WhatsApp group, zoom meetings, organise other activities and are happy to help local groups and individuals with their star gazing needs.
